How monitoring data is processed

WatchSimple stores only the data needed to check public pages, compare changes, and send alerts.

Snapshots and diffs

The service stores extracted text snapshots, hashes, diff summaries, and check metadata so users can understand what changed.

Email alerts

Alert emails include monitor name, URL, change time, summary, and before/after excerpts. Delivery status is tracked for reliability.

Future artifacts

Screenshot and visual diff foundations exist for future plans, with storage controls designed to keep larger artifacts separate from core account data.
